Although tooth grinding can improve gear accuracy, the effect of reducing meshing noise is not ideal. The shaving process is the meshing of the shaving cutter with the staggered shaft gear pair formed by the shaving gear. During the shaving process, the radial force between the shaving cutter and the shaving gear is constant, and the unit area pressure acting on a pair of meshing tooth surfaces is greater than the unit area pressure acting on the two pairs of meshing tooth surfaces. Much larger, the cutting force is also much larger. In particular, the relative sliding speed between the shaving cutter and the pitch circle of the gear is the smallest, the cutting deformation time and the cutting force transmission time are longer, and more metal is cut, which is the reason for the concave tooth profile of the shaving tooth. At present, the best razor design method to solve this problem is the "balanced shaving" design method.
